IT Facilities Submission

Dear All

Thank you very much to the approximately 50% of pre-clinical medical students that completed the Adelaide Medical Students' Society (AMSS) IT survey! The survey collected responses from a total of 272 students, which is a very pleasing response.

The data has now been analysed and is summarised here (PDF | view online) for presentation to the Faculty. Representatives from Team Education will meet with Professor Justin Beilby (Executive Dean) to discuss the issue of information technology facilities in the Medical School, and will present these data to him and advocate for student-driven solutions. We will also seek to establish a constructive dialogue regarding other infrastructure issues in the Medical School, such as access to the Anatomy Laboratory and Case-Based Learning group and room sizes. We hope that your views will guide the Faculty in the solutions it considers for these issues.
