Health and Wellbeing Week 2015

AMSS Health and Wellbeing Week is upon us! 

April 27th to May 1st in 2015 prepare to re-think your health and wellbeing.  Think forums, footy, food and a whole heap of fun, for free!  This year look forward to

Monday Free brunch and chill out zone in the pre-clin common room from 9am - get in early for some healthy treats, and kick back throughout the day for some classic movies, TV and popcorn.

Wednesday Chillfest is back - visit us on the Barr Smith lawns from 11am until 2pm to lap up some food, great tunes and fun activities brought to you by Headspace, Beyond Blue, Fitness Hub, Yoga Fusion, Insta Salad, the Adelaide Uni Bowls Club, The Adelaide Uni Yoga and Meditation club and many more! 

Thursday Yogita Yoga proudly brings you an all fun all free session in yoga and meditation from 5pm.  To register, email from 5pm on Monday the 27th - places limited so get in fast! 

Friday Get active and get a day off with medfooty! The fun begins at 12pm at Park 10.

Health and Wellbeing Subcommittee Applications

Are you passionate about the health and wellbeing of medical students? Do you want to get involved with the AMSS?

The AMSS are currently seeking 3 members to form a subcommittee for the health and wellbeing portfolio in 2015.  Members will be involved in brainstorming, planning, promotions, sponsorship and organisation of Health and Wellbeing Week, as well as other initiatives in 2015.  There is also plenty of room for new ideas if you have them! 

AMSS Fantasy Football

The 2015 AFL Season is on its way, and with it the 2015 AFL Fantasy Football Competition is already up and running! This year, the AMSS will have its own league through the official AFL Fantasy website. If you love watching the footy on the weekends, then this is for you!
