The National Leadership Development Seminar (NLDS) held each year in the political heart of Australia, Canberra, is AMSA’s premier academic event. NLDS is a unique forum, which provides passionate, enthusiastic and engaged medical students with a platform to discuss ideas, network and workshop their ideas into advocacy campaigns and national projects for tomorrow.
This year it will be held 22-26 of May
In 2016, the program centres on ‘Empowering the Individual’; to develop promising students’ leadership potential and empower them to create the change they hope for in the world. There are reserved places for each medical school, as well as for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students, and for medical students from New Zealand and the Asia-pacific. Through this we will ensure that AMSA up-skills regional leaders to become better advocates and leaders within the medical community.
Applications for 2016 are open NOW and are due on 11.59pm on the 11th March.
