AURHA

Welcome to AURHA!

The Adelaide University Rural Health Alliance (AURHA) is the rural health club for The University of Adelaide. We are one of the 29 rural health clubs across Australia that make up the National Rural Health Students' Network (NRHSN). Locally, we work alongside our Flinders and Uni SA counterparts FURHS and ROUSTAH.

Members are invited to apply to attend our annual Yalata Kidney Health Festival Trip! Rural High School Visits are an opportunity to connect with country high school students about the opportunities of a health degree and what university is like in general. Many other opportunities such as clinical skills trips and other outreach opportunities are available to our members. Each year AURHA host a cocktail evening which is our main social event. This is a chance to relax and socialise with like-minded students, health professionals and leaders in rural health. Traditionally this event has taken place just beyond the city limits.

AURHA membership is FREE and open to all students studying a health degree at The University of Adelaide. This includes medicine, allied health, dentistry, oral health, psychology and health & medical sciences. Anyone interested in rural health regardless of whether they come from a rural area, the city or overseas is encouraged to join and become a member.
